One of my bestest friends, Dawn, celebrates her 30th birthday this month. Her family and husband thought it would be fun to throw her a surprise 50’s bash! All of the guests showed up in poodle skirts and the guys in their t-shirts, jeans, and leather jackets. We had great food and fun. 
Her sister even made her a skirt she could wear when she arrived. Here we are together…
For Benjamin’s birthday we spent some time wandering around historic Prescott and enjoyed the cooler weather! Happy birthday my friend!!

My assistant (and wonderful friend), Benjamin, has impressed me once again with his creativity! I had the idea of making personal business cards that I could send to my clients in their thank-you cards. I gave the task to Benjamin to put my logo and website on them…and he amazed me! He picked colors for the logo right from the picture and then he angled it and placed it in spots that complemented the picture itself! Good job!
I had the pleasure of photographing the Miller family this past Sunday. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve seen them and since then little Ethan has been added to the family. We had a great time wandering around a historic neighborhood in downtown and also spent some time at the old Tucson Presido site.
To wind down the Miller family photoshoot yesterday, I gave both kids extra-large lollipops, sat myself down on the sidewalk in front of them, and fired off several dozen shots! Fun, easy, and super sweet!
The adults had lots of laughs…calorie free!!!
