Melinda and Jobe are expecting their first baby in a few weeks. They are a fun-loving couple who love vacations and having fun with their friends. I have a feeling this baby is going to come out ready to party!

Christa is due any day now and I was able to capture her maternity pictures just in time! Between three busy boys, school, and life in general, we finally found some time. Looks like the boys are just as excited as I am that a baby girl is on the way! 
After a few shots at home we headed up to Sedona, AZ to capture an idea that I came up with this summer. I am so pleased with the way it turned out. It was the day after Christmas, 33 degrees outside and with the wind it was more like 20 degrees, but Christa was such a trooper! Thank you Daniel for helping me with the yards and yards of fabric!!
A little later, after warming up in the hotel room, I improvised a studio set -up with a bed sheet and lamp light and was able to capture a completely different mood.

I was invited to photograph the intimate exchanging of vows between Amy and Mike in Payson, AZ. It was a small ceremony attended by close friends and family in a room lit with only white Christmas lights and candles.

As the desert floor covered with cacti gave way to the rolling hills, grassy fields, and trees on my way up to Payson, AZ to shoot the wedding of Mike and Amy, I came across this lone tree in the field. I was struck by its baron branches against the dark blue winter sky.
