laughing my butt off!

I am so excited to attend Skip’s Summer School in Vegas in a few weeks and I am even more excited to see one of my favorite photographers, Jerry Ghionis, speak at this event.  He is a god at finding light when there seemingly is none and using that light in creative and inspiring ways.  I just visited his blog and he has an absolutely hilarious promo video for this event on there.  Even if you aren’t going to Skip’s Summer School, you should watch this video!

Chelsea-urban

After leaving the glorious old theatre, Chelsea donned a more casual outfit and we hit the streets of downtown to capture a little urban flair to round out her photo session.  One thing that downtown Tucson is NOT lacking in is quirky little details around every corner!

Thanks Chelsea!  You were such a trooper and super awesome! :)

Chelsea- g.l.a.m…o.r.ous

I had the awesome opportunity to photograph Chelsea inside of a beautifully renovated old theatre last weekend here in Tucson.  The southwestern art deco details paired with her stunning old hollywood-esq dress were a photographer’s dream come true!  I was seriously like a kid in a candy store!  This also gave me the perfect opportunity to try out a new video light I purchased just for this type of shooting environment.  I have to say that that little light did an amazing job of creating just the right glow and mood for these shots.

angela on the other side of the camera

I met with local photographer Angela Palmer last week because she had some crazy ideas that she wanted to try on the other side of the camera.  She started out in her backyard pool during a wicked rain storm, then we moved inside to do some very sexy bedroom shots and ended the night with a blacklight and glow in the dark body paint!  Here are a few of my favorite ‘tame’ images that I can show you…

the softer side of metal

I am so very excited about the new music I have placed on my website.  It is by guitarist Jeromy Graves of Razer.  Their music is described as “a combination of muscular and heavy riffs, tight arrangements, evolved musical playing and true pop sensibilities, making for a unique blend that appeals to both the average radio listener and the most avid pit mosher”.  But in his off time from the band Jeromy can be found plucking away at one of his many guitars and coming up with softer, sexier solos reflecting his thoughts and moods at the time.  I am honored to have three of those songs on my site right now and hopefully several more in the future.  If you would like to hear some of Razer’s music and read a bit more about them,
